FAQ
What is Eugene's daily faith companion?
Eugene sends a morning verse and an evening prayer by text, tied to what you're actually walking through. It keeps a prayer journal of what you're carrying, follows up in the days after, and marks prayers as answered so you build a record of God's faithfulness over time — the thing a verse-of-the-day app can't do.
How does the prayer journal work?
Just tell Eugene what you're praying for — 'praying for my mom's surgery' — and it remembers, then gently checks back in the following days ('how did your mom's surgery go?'). When something is answered, it moves into your answered-prayer log, a growing testimony you can look back on in hard seasons.
Can Eugene pray with me out loud?
Yes. Ask Eugene to pray for you out loud or read you a psalm, and it sends a warm spoken prayer you can play — a quiet, present moment, not just text on a screen.
Do I need to download an app to use it?
No. Eugene runs entirely over text (SMS), so there's nothing to install. You just text it to start, and your morning and evening rhythm arrives right in your messages.
What does it cost?
Free to start, no card required — the free plan covers about 20 messages a day with every feature included, plus 3 active routines; one-off reminders always fire. Eugene Pro is $14.99/month for unlimited.
