Accessibility-first

A real assistant in plain text — no app, no menus, no barriers

If apps are harder than typing — a motor disability, low vision, fatigue, or a phone that fights you — Eugene runs reminders, routines, research, and notes entirely over text messages. One short text does what used to take twenty taps.

FAQ

Why is a text-based assistant more accessible?

SMS is the most compatible surface a phone has: every screen reader, voice-input system, and switch-access setup already handles it. No app to install, no small buttons, no session that times out. If you can send a text — by voice, by switch, or slowly — you can use all of Eugene.

Can Eugene handle real work, not just reminders?

Yes. One of Eugene's longest-running users is a quadriplegic entrepreneur who types with a mouth-stick and runs his daily business — research digests, drafts, schedules, reminders — entirely through Eugene. Every text does the work of many taps.

I type slowly or with errors — is that a problem?

No. Short fragments and typos are fine — Eugene interprets generously, asks at most one short question at a time, and offers yes/no choices where it can. It never times out and never makes you start over.

What does it cost?

Free to start — first week unlimited, then about 10 messages a day free, and reminders and routines keep working regardless. Eugene Pro is $9.99/mo for unlimited. If cost is a barrier, email contact@meeteugene.com and we'll work something out.
